How can we use the “Publish” menu and how can you create your post in SociDeck account.

First, go to the “Publish” menu and select “Scheduled” option:

Here you can create your own post using either “Schedule a new post”:

Or “compose” button:

When you click on the “Schedule a new post”, a popup will be opened:





To create a post, select the account first, on which you want to publish your post. And then write something about your post. Below you have Five options:


  1. Add image/gif as a post attachment
  2. Draft
  3. Queue
  4. Schedule
  5. Link

 

Using First option, you can add an image or GIF file from your computer to your post:


Using second option, you can save your post as a Draft. And your saved post will be shown in the Draft section of Post menu.

 

By using the third option, you can queue the post in the existing queue or in a new queue. For more details check out the Queue training manual pdf.

Chose the fourth option if you want your post to be posted on a date and time.

 

Use the fifth option if you want to add a link to the post.

To schedule a post, click schedule button. Select a date. Select time. When done click schedule.

After this, you will see a success notification. Your post will be visible under the scheduled posts area. You can post it now, edit or delete it by using the three buttons just below it.

 

You can filter the scheduled posts by clicking on calendar icon at the top. Select the dates between whose scheduled posts you want to view. Then click Filter date. Then, only those posts that are scheduled between those dates will be displayed.

Next, in the publish option. You can see Draft option. Here you will see all the drafted posts by you.


You can post the draft now, add tag, Edit the post or delete the draft by using the buttons below.

The third option in Publish is Via RSS. Click on it. Then Click Setup RSS Feed / Atom Feed.


A form will appear. Enter the URL of the page whose feeds you want. Enter a title name for feed. Assign a frequency at which feeds will check for new posts. Select account from “Send to” option, on which account you want to post the feed. Click on add RSS Feed button.









New feed will be displayed in the active RSS Feeds.



You can pause, edit, delete the feed by using the three buttons near the feed.


Next, we have Sent post option. In this option you can see all your sent posts. You can select a period between which you want to see all your sent posts. You can do this by clicking calendar and then selecting a period. You can sort the list by entering a tag in search tags field on the right. You can select the account whose sent posts you want to view. You can also view posts by type using all notification section. Select the type of post such as comments, wall posts, tweets.

Hence. this is the way the “Publish” menu works and how can SociDeck account be created.
