How you can integrate your Social Media accounts with Tappit?

First, I’ll show you how to integrate your Tappit with Facebook.






Here you will be asked to enter your Application ID and Application Secret. To get these details, you need to log on to https://developers.facebook.com/



Go to the My App display on the top right corner and click on Add new app.










It will ask you to enter App name and the developer Contact Email and then click on Create App ID.









You could be asked to complete the captcha for verification, so just complete it and click on Submit.











It will take you to the dashboard of the developer’s app.










Once there, under Facebook login click Set up.











Select the web as a platform. Enter your website URL under the site URL. Click Save and Continue.










Go to the Settings under Facebook login.









Enter valid OAuth redirect URLs.
To get this URL go back on the settings page of Tappit and copy the Redirect URL in your App










and paste it in the valid OAuth Redirect URLs section and then click on Save changes.











And then, add the given details as follows.
Then, go to Settings:












and enter AppDomain which is your subdomain URL of Tappit. For example, https://xyz.tappit.co then enter Privacy Policy URL like https://xyz.tappit.co/social-integration . Select the category. Click save changes.












Go to app review. make app public.



















Then, go to the Settings page of Tappit.












Copy and paste the App Id and App Secret from dashboard of app page to Social Media Integration page of Tappit.












Click on Save. Provide the permissions by clicking continue and ok and you will get the message that your Facebook Settings are saved successfully.











So, this is the complete process to integrate your Facebook accounts with Tappit.
Now, in order to get approved this created app from Facebook you need to follow the required steps. Just go to Facebook App Review Section












Click on “Start a Submission" and under Manage_Page section,












click on Add Details.











You can read the following instructions over here and then you need to submit required details. First, in the textbox with name Tell us how you're using this permission or feature, you need to mention in detailed that how you will be going to use this app to get traffic from Facebook.











Then the most important part in which you need to Show that how you're using this permission or feature, For that, you need to create a small video for that and submit it over here. You can read all the instructions over here that what things you have to show in your video.















So, once you create a video, Just Drag and Drop your video file hereby click on Upload File button.
Once you done, Click on Save. Then, you need to wait until Facebook will review and approve your app. Once your app will be approved by Facebook you can share or promote your site on it to get traffic.







Twitter settings







Now let’s move to Twitter integration.














Here you need to enter your Consumer key, Consumer Secret, Access Token and Access Secret.
To get these details for your Twitter account, you need to log on to https://developer.twitter.com/













Here, you will create a new App to integrate your Twitter account to Tappit. So, go to Tappit and select Apps.














Now, click on Create an APP.
You will now be asked to enter your App details. Required details are App Name, Application description, website URL i.e. your subdomain URL of Tappit, for example https://xyz.tappit.co




























and then Call back URL which you can copy from Twitter settings page and then paste it here. Then click on Create.















Here you need to review Twitter Developer Terms and then again click on Create.
Now you will be able to find your Twitter applications In Key and Access Tokens Tab. Copy your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret and go to the Twitter tab of the Tappit and paste the Consumer key and Consumer secret in the respective fields.













Go back to your Twitter Developer dashboard, and then click on Create which is under Access Token. Copy your Access Token and Access Secret and then go to the Twitter tab of the Tappit Setting page and paste it in the respective fields.












Finally click on Save API Credentials, then click on Authorize and your Twitter account is linked to your Tappit account successfully.




Instagram Settings



I will now take Instagram Settings







You will be asked to enter your Instagram Username, Password, Client ID and Client Secret. To get your Instagram credentials go to Instagram developer site at

https://www.instagram.com/developer/






Click on the Manage clients tab on the top right.












Click on Register New Clients and enter the information that you are asked for which includes the Application name, next Description, then Website URL i.e. your subdomain URL of Tappit for example https://xyz.tappit.co and then valid redirect URLs which you can copy from Instagram settings page and then paste it here.









Then complete the captcha and click on Register.











Now, your client is registered. Click on the Manage button, where you see your Client ID and Client Secret.













Copy the Client Id and go to the Social Setting Instagram Tab of Tappit.
Go back to Instagram and copy your Client Secret then back to Tappit and paste it in the Instagram Client Secret field.
Once you are done click on Save and you will get a message that your Profile is updated successfully.




LinkedIn Settings:




Next, we will configure LinkedIn Settings.










You will be asked to enter your Client Id and Client Secret.
To get these details for your LinkedIn account, you need to log on to https://developer.linkedin.com/ and click on “My Apps”.









Here, click on Create application.









You will be asked to enter your new application details. The required details are marked as a Red address. It includes the Name of your Company,




Application name, Application Description, Application Logo, Application Use, Website URL i.e. e your subdomain URL of Tappit for example https://xyz.tappit.co
Also, enter your Business Email and Business Phone.









Mark the checkbox that I have read and agree to the LinkedIn API Terms of use and click on Submit.








Then here you will see your Client ID and Client Secret in the Authentication Keys section but before you enter these credentials in your settings section, make sure you go back on settings page of Tappit and copy the Redirect URL in your App from here and paste it in the Authorized Redirect URLs section and click on ADD and then click on Update.















Now copy your LinkedIn credentials and paste it in the LinkedIn setting section of Tappit and then Click on Save. Then click here to confirm your account and you will get the message that your LinkedIn Settings are saved successfully.









Tumblr Settings




Here you will be asked to enter Consumer Key, Consumer Secret.









To get these details for your Tumblr account go to https://www.tumblr.com/docs/en/api/v2 and Click on register an application link.








Now click on large Register Application Green button








you will be taken to the Register Application form with only required fields application name, application website and the application description, Administrative Contact email and the Default call back URL which you can copy from Tumblr settings page and then paste it here.














Check the I’m not robot box and click on Register and your Tumblr application has been registered.







Here you will get all the information you need. Click on Show keys to get consumer secret. Just copy the Consumer key, Consumer Secret and then Click on Save, then click on Ok and you will get the message that your Tumblr Settings are saved successfully.









Pinterest Settings



Now let’s see the Pinterest Settings.








Here you will be asked to enter your APP ID and APP Secret. To get the Pinterest credentials start by checking in https://developers.pinterest.com/











Once there click on App tab and then click on Create APP.











Enter the name and Description for your App and click on Create.









Now your credentials are ready.









Just remember you now need to go to the Pinterest Setting section of Tappit and copy the Redirect URL in your App and paste it in Redirect URL’s section and press Enter it and then Save it.









Now copy your Pinterest credentials and paste it in their respective fields and then click on Save button.
Click on Ok to confirm your account and you will get the message that your Pinterest Settings are saved successfully.











Reddit Settings




Moving towards the next social settings of Tappit that is Reddit.








Here again you will be asked to enter Client Id and Client Secret. To get these details go to https://ssl.reddit.com/prefs/apps












Click on create app.








Here you need to enter the name and description for your app. Also, enter the URL and redirect URL which you can copy from Reddit settings page of Tappit and paste it here and then click on Create App.









Now simply copy the client ID and client secret from here and paste it in the respective fields of Tappit and then simply click on Save button. Click on Allow to confirm your account and you will get the message that your Reddit Settings are saved successfully.










Blogger Settings



Now let’s move on to Blogger’s Setting.











Here you will be asked to enter Client Id and Client Secret.
To get these details for your Blogger settings go to https://developers.google.com/blogger/docs/3.0/using and Click on Get an OAuth Client ID blue button.









A window box will open with name Enable Blogger API v3 where you can enter your new project name and agree the terms and condition by select Yes button and then click on Next.









Then Specify your product name and click on Next.











Here you can select Web Server and enter Authorized redirect URL’s.










To get this URL go back on the settings page of Tappit and copy the Redirect URL in your App and paste it in the valid OAuth Redirect URLs section and then click on Create.









Now, here you will get an information which you need. Just copy the Client ID and Client Secret from here and paste it in the respective field of Tappit and then click on Save API credentials.







Select your respective mail account of Blogger then click on Allow and you will get a message that your Blogger Settings saved successfully.





Medium Settings




Now we need to set up the last social platform of Tappit that is Reddit. Here again you will be asked to enter Client Id and Client Secret. To get these details go to https://developers.medium.com/









Here Scroll down the page and Click on manage to Sign up with your Google or Facebook account. And if you already have an account simply click on sign in.











Now you will see a page of Medium Applications. Click on New Application button over here.










You will now be asked to enter your Applications details. Required details are Name, Description, Upload your photo and Call Back URL’s – which you can copy from the Tappit Medium settings page, then click on Save and you will get a message Application Created.











Now from here you can simply copy your Client Id and Client secret and paste it in the respective field of Tappit and then click on Save API credentials.











Then click on Okay and you will get a message that your Medium Settings saved successfully.











Now all your Social accounts are linked to Tappit.

So, this is the complete process to integrate your social accounts with Tappit.
