How you can generate traffic with the help of Social and SEO option under the Get Traffic feature and how you can get discovered easily on search engines using this option of Tappit?

For that, click on the Get Traffic option in the left menu bar.








Here you will get two options- Social Campaign and SEO:










Click on Social Campaign option.










Here you can check the complete list of all active social campaigns shared on top social media networks. You can also analyze their performance and make requisite changes.
Click on the Add Social Campaign option.












Enter the name of the social campaign, choose the type, choose article category and select the list.











Click on Next.
Now, choose from the TOP social media platforms available and click Next.











You can share it on your Facebook timeline and pages created by you.
You can also share on Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Reddit, Blogger and Medium timelines.












Now watch the Preview and set the frequency type and no. of post to be posted on the timeline.












Enter the Start and End Date and Time and hit Publish and Activate. Now, everything is done, and you are all set to share stories on social media networks to get traffic from them.










You will get a success message notifying social campaign is published successfully.


Next, under the Get Traffic option, I am going to explain you about the SEO option.

Click on SEO option.














A new page will open with options like Homepage, Article/Video Pages, Category Page, Title Settings, XML Sitemap, RSS Feed, etc.
These will help you to improve your exposure on search engines.




Under the Homepage section, you need to enter the website URL. You also need to provide Meta Title.












Meta Title is the Title that will be displayed on the top of the tabs of a browser and as the Title in the search engine results. Then you can add Meta Description, which is the description you provide for the search engines which they display for your site under the link.


Next you need to enter the Meta Keywords, which are the keywords that are used by the search engines to show your site when certain keywords are entered in the search engine’s search bar as queries. Enter the relevant keywords which you feel are relevant to your site.
Moving forward you have Robots Meta NoIndex, if you turn ON this option then it will enable your site to not be displayed under the search engines and their results, in a way people will not be able to find you on search engines.


Robots Meta NoFollow will tell the search engines to not fetch the links that are there in the site, meaning, only the site website link will be given to search engines to be used for displaying if someone searches for something relevant, but the links inside the site and other pages will not be accessed by search engines and thus will not be displayed when searched for.












Click Save options when done.
Next, we have Article/Video Pages settings for SEO. Here you can choose the syntax of the Meta Title.












Meta Title is the title that will be displayed on the top of the page, mainly on the tabs of the browser. You can select the syntax, which is a format that you want for your article title and site title to be displayed accordingly.


Whether you want your Article Title first before Site Title with a | sign, or only Article Title to be there or you just want the Site Title only to be displayed on the tabs.


Robots Meta No index and No follow are same as explained earlier but this time they are for article pages and not for the whole store.




Click Save options when done.
Then go to the Category Page option.












Category pages represent all the pages of the Articles under categories. Suppose if your visitor clicks on a category then he will be shown all the Articles that fall into that category, this kind of page is called the Category page.

The other options under Category page are same as that of the Article page. Enter them and when done click on the Save option.

In the Title Settings, you can choose the syntax for search title. Also, you can enter the 404 Title format for Page Not Found error.













In the XML Sitemap, you can view or download the sitemap. It can help you see what is being fed into the Search Engines as Search Engines fetch the XML sitemap for indexing your sites.












You can also copy your Sitemap URL and put it in your Webmaster account.
Next is the RSS Feed option.












RSS feed is very important if you want people to be updated about your articles and videos in the form of lists. In the RSS Feed option, you can view the RSS feed links for either all categories or for a specific category. You can then share them with your visitors.




Now, we have the Webmaster settings:











where we can put the links given to us by search engine tools such as Google, Bing and Webmaster Tools. This will further help you to gain more clarity regarding your site’s standing in the search engine.




Lastly, we have the Analytics section,









here you need to enter the Google Analytics Tracking Code, Third Party Analytics Tracking Code, Facebook Remarketing Pixel Script, Web Engage Tracking ID.
Once done click on Save.
