How to get accurate analysis to check performance using Reports option.

In this document of our Knowledgebase, you will find the explanation about the stats option and how you can Get accurate analysis to check-out the performance inside TopStorySites.

Click on Reports option from the left-hand side menu.



You will see further two options under it. Stories report and Social report. To view the stats of your Stories, please click on Stories report option.

You will see 5 options - Overview, Location, Technology, compare and result.



Under overview section, you will observe a graph for traffic received with a number of viewer count and time on both axis. Another graph is of campaigns and its views.
You can change the time duration for which you want to view the graph for by selecting the option from the drop-down menu as this week, this month, this year or custom and by selecting the three options presented as Day, week, or month.




Click on the button next to the drop-down menu to refresh this page, if you want to see the updated results.



You can further go into categories to view the Reports of a specific category and dive into their Stories to view their reports. This is applicable for all the options under reports section

Click view in detail and go into categories.




In the location section you can view the number of viewers and their origin of country by referring to the map.



Next, in the technology section you can view the stats for Browsers used, operating system and devices used by the viewers and audiences in the form of Pie charts.



In the next option, compare. We can compare the statistics of two categories. Select the categories you wish to compare and then click compare. You will get the basic report with the stats items such as number of Stories, views, and conversion rate. Then we have a graph comparing the traffic between the two categories.



In the results tab, we have two graphs. One is conversion graph which shows the rate of conversions in terms of time. The other graph is Like and dislike graph which tells us the amount of like and dislikes received.



Next, under the Reports option. We go to Social Report option.



We will receive the list of all the stories under a category and details regarding these stories shared on the Social media platforms.

Details here include S.No., Social Share Story, Posted To, Status, Shared Post, Link, Posted on and Action.



You can also view the stories between a specific date period by selecting from and to dates in the field provided. You can search for a specific Story by using the search option. You can view the number of list displayed on the page by selecting the number from the drop-down menu of record per page option.



You can check the post posted on Social media platform by clicking on click here option under Shared post field.

You can view the Story itself by clicking on view post under Link field.

You can navigate to the different pages by using the navigation area at the bottom of the page.



To get more details please click on Reports button under action field.



You will get more details related with the story and its stats for Social media like where it is Posted To, Its Status, its Shared Post link, and its own Link.

You can also choose the Social media platform for whom you wish to view the list for.

You can search for a stat by using the search field.

You can assign the number of records to be displayed using the number of records option.

You can navigate to the different pages by using the navigation area at the bottom of the page.



If at any time you feel stuck or confused, you can always click on the help icon button to open a box full of helpful information about the option or you can click on video icon button to launch the Tutorial video.
